SoCal Author to Hold Book Signing at Murrieta Library

Author Lia Fairchild, a Southern California native, is scheduled to speak April 16 during a Friends of the Murrieta Library general meeting.

The Friends of the Murrieta Library April General Membership meeting will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 16 in the Murrieta Public Library Community Room at 8 Town Square on Adams Avenue between Juniper and Kalmia streets.

Following a brief business meeting, author Lia Fairchild will be speaking to the group about her life as an author. Fairchild was born and raised in Southern California. Fairchild holds a bachelor's degree in journalism and a multiple subject teaching credential.  

In addition to "In Search of Lucy," Fairchild has written "A Hint of Murder: The Writer," "A Hint of Murder: The Doctor," and a short story entitled "Special Delivery."
