Power Outage Affects 218 Murrieta Customers

The planned maintenance outage began at 8 a.m. and was expected to last until 3 p.m. Tuesday for 218 customers south of Los Alamos Road, near Hancock Avenue.

Some 200 people in Murrieta are without electricity until Tuesday afternoon due to a planned outage, Southern California Edison is reporting.

Crews are working to repair damaged equipment.

"The residents in that area were notified that there would be a maintenance outage," said Nancy Rodriguez Casanova, an SCE spokeswoman.
