“The Murrieta Youth Center’s goal is to serve as a positive alternative space for youth of Murrieta to socialize, educate, and develop as productive members of the community. This goal is met through peer to peer mentoring, responsible empowerment, educational programming, and through strong positive supervision,” according a city news release.

Additional grand opening festivities—for youth only—will carry on into the Thanksgiving holiday week with challenges, activities and prizes for youth in grades sixth through ninth. The Murrieta Youth Center will be giving away great prizes for those in attendance with a grand prize drawing for an iPad.
