The Murrieta Public Library announced two new services this week: online payment of overdue fines and onsite fax service.

Customers now have the ability to pay their overdue fees online using PayPal or a credit card. Fees of $5 or more can be paid from a home or office computer, smart phone or tablet by simply going to the Library’s Web page and clicking on the "Pay Your Fines Now" link on the home page.

For security purposes, fees can not be paid using the Library’s computers or through the wireless connection.

In addition to the convenience of paying overdue fees online, the Library now offers domestic and international fax service. The fax machine, described as "very user-friendly," is located in the application center at the Library.

Patrons should not that credit card is the only accepted form of payment for fax service.

The Murrieta Public Library is located at 8 Town Square (Adams Avenue and Kalmia Street). For more information call 951-304-BOOK (2665) or visit the Library’s web page at www.murrietalibrary.info.
