More Than 500 Without Power In Murrieta, Temecula Area

The outage is the result of equipment problems, SCE reports.

A power outage that began Friday morning is expected to be resolved shortly after nightfall, Southern California Edison is reporting.

The lights went out for 520 of the utility’s customers in the Temecula/Murrieta area at 8:20 a.m. today.

This is getting to the point of not being funny anymore. Edison just updated once again, and are now expecting a 10pm completion. The effected area is in The Colony. They have no lights and NO HEAT. C'mon Edison, I've got three 80+ year-old seniors in my home, waiting to go home.

SCE is a for profit Org. So if you have the space, install a Honda generator that will auto. switch on in 3 milliseconds. Then demand a credit from SCE for power used when their grid fails. How difficult is that to understand dudes -n - dudettes.
