Hobby Group to Host Model Train Viewing in Murrieta

Displays will take place Saturday in Murrieta, Menifee.

Several model train layouts will be on public display March 19 throughout Riverside County, the hobby group Model Railroads of Southern California announced today.

Model railroad layouts in Riverside, Murrieta, Hemet and Menifee will be open as part of a self-guided tour. Admission is free.   

Trains from HO, O an N gauges will be represented as well as garden railroads.

The scales, times and locations are:

   -- Roger Clarkson (HO & G), 9 a.m. to noon and 3 p.m. to 5 p.m., at 1463 Rimroad in Riverside;

   -- Jack Keefer (G), noon to 4 p.m., at 42311 Chisolm Trail in Murrieta;

   -- Dynamic Hobbies (O), 10:30 a.m. to 6 p.m., at 811 E. Florida Ave. in
Hemet;

   -- Hemet San Jacinto Model RR Club (HO & N), 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., at 711
Bahama Drive in Hemet; and

   -- Dave Riggle (G), 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., at 24992 Oaktree Lane in Menifee.
