The U.S. Geological Society is reporting that a magnitude-3.6
earthquake struck Thursday morning south of Murrieta and Temecula.
Caltech is also reporting the temblor.
The quake centered near Rainbow was reported at 6:29 a.m., approximately 5 miles southeast of Temecula, according to the USGS
There were no reports of injuries.A "shake map" provided by USGS shows the seismic event was felt at a light and weak level throughout Temecula Valley.
