Cal Oaks/I-15 Ramp Closures Scheduled This Week
The closures will take place Friday and Saturday nights of this week.
Residents should plan accordingly if California Oaks Road is the entrance or exit they use when accessing Intersate 15 in Murrieta.
Granite Construction, contractor for the Interstate 15/California Oaks Road freeway interchange, announced two night time ramp closures this week, the City of Murrieta said in a news release.
The northbound off-ramp from Interstate 15 will be closed from 9 p.m. Friday, June 10, to 9 a.m., Saturday, June 11.

The southbound off-ramp will be closed from 9 p.m. Saturday, June 11, to 9 a.m. Sunday, June 12.
When completed, the project will eliminate left-hand turns onto the freeway by providing loop on-ramps for both north- and southbound traffic. It will inlcude higher capacity off-ramps and improve traffic flow on California Oaks Road.

The projected completion date for the project is August 2012.
