5 Things to Know in Murrieta Today: Feb. 26

Rain, hail and snow are expected, but there is plenty to do indoors to keep you amused.

1.) Heavy rain, flash flood warnings and low snow levels leave Saturday a day for bundling up and staying indoors. According to the National Weather Service, showers with thunderstorms and possible hail are expected after 10 a.m. The high may reach 46 and the low is expected to be near 30. Be careful out there and bundle up!

2.) Don’t let the rain stop you from enjoying your Saturday! Operation Grapple, a GI tournament, open to teens and adults, will be held today. Registration is closed, however anyone is welcome to attend. The event begins at 9 a.m at The Fight Lab, 
30033 Technology Dr Ste. 101. The spectator fee is $10 for adults and $5 for children. For more information, click here.

3.) Ryan’s Comics is hosting Magic: The Gathering Type 2 Constructed Booster Box tournament today from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. with double elimination! However, it will not start until at least eight players are present. The fee is $15 per person; first prize winner will receive 16 packs; second, 10 packs; third, six packs; and fourth place will receive four packs. Ryan’s Comics is located at 25021 Madison Ave.

4.) In conjunction with the exhibit, "Moments Preserved: Film Cameras of the 20th Century," local photographer Mandis Razavi will teach a digital photography workshop. Participants must bring their own digital camera (one they are comfortable using). This class is only $2!
