Temecula Winery Hosts San Diego State University Class

Students will receive a look into the way wine is made during the Wine Making Behind the Scenes course offered by San Diego State University’s College of Extended Studies on Saturday, Oct. 5 from 9 am-4:30 pm at the Maurice Car’rie Winery, 34225 Rancho California Road.

They will learn the “from grape to table” wine philosophy, as well as the manufacturing and operations sides of the wine business. During this fast-paced day, the class will examine basic knowledge of state regulations and have discussions focusing on how climate, soil, and perception relate to profit.
