Workshop to be offered at St Thomas Episcopal Preschool on Nov. 14

They weep, they wail, they stomp their feet. They might even hold their breath until they turn blue, making you just want to sink through the floor. A child’s tantrum can be a parent’s most frustrating and embarrassing situation.

On Thursday, November 14, Child Development specialist Sandi Schubert will lead a workshop to help parents and caregivers learn how to defuse tantrums, and even stop them before they start. The one-hour program will cover:

A former Training and Curriculum Specialist for U.S. Navy Child Development Centers, Sandi Schubert has a B.S. in Child Development from Cal State Fullerton, and more than 30 years experience in the field. She has presented at workshops for the National Association for the Education of Young Children, and has been a director for private, faith-based and Indian country schools. She is now director of the St. Thomas Episcopal Preschool & Kindergarten.
