TEMECULA, CA (June 17, 2013) – Inland Valley Classical Ballet Theatre (IVCBT) is proud to welcome Elena Pankey as the production assistant to Svetlana Waisman for the upcoming ballet performance of Don Quixote. Svetlana Waisman, founder of Inland Valley Classical Ballet Academy and the Inland Valley Classical Ballet Theatre is honored to have Elena as a part of our company. “Her incredibly rich background in the field of arts is definitely beautiful and a strengthening addition to our dance family”, comments Svetlana.
Elena Pankey, is a graduate of the prestigious St. Petersburg (Leningrad) University as a philologist-linguist. Elena has countless accomplishments in Russian cinematography, theater, journalism and teaching art history. She is also a tango aficionada and a founder of Tango Caminito Dance School — a not for profit organization which works with various charities and is a 15 year supporter of IVCBT. Elena’s contribution to IVCBT is consulting in acting, theatrical technique, stage makeup and background scenes. IVCBT is thrilled to work with Elena for many years to come! “What a blessing!”, Svetlana said.
