5 Things to Know in Murrieta: May 21, 2013

1. It will be another warm one, according to the National Weather Service. Today expect sunny skies and a high of 87. Tonight expect patchy fog after 11 p.m., mostly clear skies and a low of 53.
  
2. The Murrieta City Council will hold its regularly scheduled public meeting at 6 p.m. Council is expected to discuss awarding a $6.35-million contract for Interstate 15/Los Alamos Road Improvement Project. Meetings are held in Council Chambers at City Hall, One Town Square.
 
3. Here's what's for lunch today at elementary schools in the Murrieta Valley Unified School District: French bread pepperoni pizza. . Every Tuesday night at 7 p.m. the Vista Murrieta Golden Alliance hosts a Bingo Night that includes a progressive jackpot.  Held at Vista Murrieta High School, 28251 Clinton Keith Road, the buy-in is $15.  Early bird play begins at 6:15 p.m. and doors open at 4 p.m.
