" Does life get any better than spending the day reveling in children’s laughter, surfingRead More at a beach so close to home, a divinely artistic, cloud-filled sky, Nessy turkey burgers for dinner and innumerable photo opps? I think not. " Yes, "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder". This article and video clip certainly reflects Southern California life at it's finest. Thanks for sharing!

Lynda.......if you look it has been both Steve Newman and Roy Holmgren plotting to hurt me, shoot meRead More between the eyes. Newman has spent at least twenty posts,, posting my address. My attacks, although not proper, have been to protect my private information being posted. I wish you would acknowledge that my comment was not a "rant" in the least. It was complimentary, encouraging, only asking your opinion on a subject that interests me. By not addressing Newman, explaining my post, you leave readers thinking I was attacking you, which it was not!!!!

The best to all of you. NO OFFENSE taken, all the way around the world. I believe my subsequent postRead More addresses your inquiry, Mr. Kleiner. Future inquiries / comments will be handled by my manager: HoltLafrance@aol.com who suggested I stick to writing content and surfing -- not in that order. Easy, Breezy.

You are so lucky, that you do not HAVE to deal with it... We VICTIM's and families have no choiceRead More in the matter. FOREVER is how long we are forced to deal with it. As for how, and why each murderer has lost his "moral compass" those questions cease to matter AFTER murder. For we are left to deal with "what they ARE NOW", and EVERY murdered victim screams from beyond the grave for EQUAL JUSTICE... It's a real shame, society finds it to be such a hard decision make. What is harder, is enduring the TERROR, HORROR AND PAIN - OF BEING MURDERED! I never stop hearing Saskia's SCREAMS in my head, not ever... Knowing how much she LOVED her life, and all those in it - knowing she didn't stand a chance when William Gary Simpson decided to murder everyone in our home - as Saskia fought against that 15 inch blade as William Gary Simpson kept stabbing into her... The decision is crystal clear to me. There is no forgiving MURDER. Every murdered victim DESERVES equal justice. Every murder should be given the Death Penalty. Our trial date is coming up in the Spring. I can only pray, the decision is as crystal clear to our Jury - as it is to all of us...

I can't begin to fathom your pain and your arduously long journey through the legal system,Read More recounting something so....indescribably horrific -- as were the allegations I read about a different murder case seeking a jury for trial. You've summed up my third-party, arms-length experience with a first-hand account of atrocity. That's what I'm talking about. I wasn't called to task in making a decision regarding either the guilt or innocence of the defendant, nor his sentence to life in prison or to death, should he be found guilty, because I was excused from jury duty. The touchstone experience, however, remains indelibly etched across my soul, on many, many counts. I wish you and yours peace on a foundation of the justice you deserve, very soon. In my prayers, too.

Been there done that but i was selected for a murder trial for which i would love to know why or howRead More they came to pick me. Both the defense and prosecution present their cases and afterwards we deliberated for 3 days. to make it short it wasnt in the defense's favor, but the thing that nobody warned us against was that after we sent in our finding to the judge we entered the courtroom to find a full house mostly of the defense's family and reporters, quite a shock because during the course of the case only a handful of people where there. When the verdict was read "Guilty" the family started screaming at us in the jury and some threats were heard, thats when the judge ordered the state troopers to put up a defense line between us and them and then we were ushered out. In writing this i think jurors should be warned of such things. Of course the judge did say that if anyone contacts you call us right away, ok i felt a little better. Upon leaving the courthouse i and a couple of other jurors were saying our goodbyes to each other when an suv shot up onto the sidewalk right at us and sped away fast. I hope if your ever on a jury you might want to think about things like this that they dont tell you.

I too have been noticing the increased vulgar coarseness celebrated on TV by repulsive sitcoms andRead More reality shows garishly displaying the drek of our society--although we love to laugh at their trashy speech and repugnant looks, unfortunately the rest of the world judges us by what they see on the screen. Small wonder that Americans are now one of the most hated people on earth.
