Spider Causes Crash on I-15 at Clinton Keith
The spider frightened a driver and she swerved, causing her to lose control of the box truck she was driving, the CHP said.
A spider was behind a traffic jam on the southbound Interstate 15 through Wildomar and Murieta today, the California Highway Patrol reported.
Traffic was snarled on the I-15 from Lake Elsinore to Clinton Keith Road this morning after Maria Perez of Fallbrook was driving and a spider dropped down beside her, according to the CHP. The spider frightened her and she swerved onto the west dirt shoulder, causing her to lose control of the box truck she was driving, the CHP said.
The truck overturned onto its left side, blocking the one and two lanes.

Perez refused medical attention at the scene.
