Ronald Reagan's Murrieta Horse Property on Sale

The property, once part of a 750-acre ranch Reagan bought in the late 1960s, includes a five-acre, seasonally fed lake, a lakeside house and a regulation-size polo field with two grandstands.

A 30-acre horse property in Murrieta's Tenaja Valley -- formerly part of a ranch owned by late President Ronald Reagan when he was governor -- is for sale for $3.9 million, it was reported today.

The property, once part of a 750-acre ranch Reagan bought in the late 1960s, includes a five-acre, seasonally fed lake, a lakeside house and a regulation-size polo field with two grandstands.

Also on the property are an eight-acre pasture, nine corrals, three wells and a 2,750-square-foot barn with skylights, the Los Angeles Times reported.

The 1,500-square-foot main house, built with stones from the site in 1996, has two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Reagan and second-wife Nancy owned the property for more than a decade before selling it. Anne Sturm of Tarbell Realtors is the listing agent.
