Vista Murrieta Sophomore Kaela Freeman says to "Shut Your Mouth," with a new single she has just released.

The "Shut Your Mouth," single is a fast-paced dance tune with elements of hip-hop, according to her publicist.

In 2010, Kaela released "What Yo Name is," and had it played on some radio stations and filmed a music video as well, said Elisabeth Freeman, who is publicizing Kaela.

"Shut Your Mouth" is about female independence, the publicist said.

Kaela, who is 16,  has appeared in TV shows and films such as “Mr. & Mrs. Smith” and “The Bernie Mac Show,”  according to her bio.

She has also appeared in numerous commercials for various companies, including Geico, Dominos Pizza, Kmart, McDonalds, Levi’s and AT&T. 

Kaela' songs are written and produced by her brother, Tyler, a student at California State University Fullerton.

According to her publicist, Kaela is also filming a teen film series called “Diamond Life,” about a pampered teen who leaves her cozy suburban home and friends to travel to Africa, a place that is strange to her.

A national tour of schools and other venues is also in the works, according to her publicist, who added that a few years ago, Kaela organized the Murrieta Fun Fest with some friends and tried to highlight the health and educational issues African children face,
