Murrieta Fire Department Invites Public to Open House

There will be food, fun, demos and tours from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at Murrieta Fire Station No. 2, at California Oaks Road and Hancock Avenue.

To mark October as Fire Prevention Month, the Murrieta Fire Department is hosting its annual open house.

Between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 27, the public is invited to Murrieta Fire Station No. 2, 40060 California Oaks Road.

There will be free hot dogs, displays, tours, fire safety education and demonstrations, said Murrieta fire Chief Matt Shobert.
