The "state-of-the-art" improvements made in Murrieta—which are part of a two-year, $1.7 billion investment throughout the greater Los Angeles area —are expected to more ability to handle a growing volume of calls, video, Internet and other data, the wireless provider said.

“Our goal is for our customers to have a great experience and as part of the Murrieta community our investment in the local wireless network is just one way we’re accomplishing that,” said Ken McNeely, president of AT&T California.  “The ongoing investment we’re making is designed to increase coverage and reliability, and to provide advanced services to our customers.”

"It’s like adding lanes to the highway so it can handle more traffic."
